The holiday season is just round the corner and we are super excited. Schools and colleges will be out for winter break and most working people will have two extended weekends because of Christmas and New Year. Some of us have already made plans and some of us are in process. In case you are not planning anything big or just need a backup for your plan, here are a few ideas to make good use of the holidays.

Step out and turn on the festive mode

The markets, malls, restaurants, and your local church are all decked up for Christmas and you need to go out and see that. The Christmas trees, giant installations, lights, and other decorations, as well as the Santas are guaranteed to bring back nostalgia and make you smile.

Catch up with your friends

Remember how all of us keep complaining about not being able to take out time to meet our friends? Well, now is the time! Check with your friends right now and see who all are available to meet up. People might have plans, people might make plans, but if you are the first one to ask, they will try to take out time if they are in town at that time.

Play Santa to someone in need

Nothing feels as good as making someone smile. Donate to your favourite NGO or teach your domestic help’s kids. If you can’t devote time and don’t want to shell out money, you can do something as simple as feeding street dogs or helping an elderly person push their shopping cart.

Decorate your home

This is the quickest and sure shot way to get into celebration mode.
