Ashish Kakkar has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Groupe SEB India in May 2020 to take over the India Operations. Ashish comes with a vast experience of 22 years and industry expertise in brand management, strategic marketing, product development and sales in the Consumer Durable and FMCG sector. Ashish has worked with some of the world’s best-known brands including Jarden Consumer Solution, Philips India Ltd, Bajaj Electricals Ltd and Godrej.
Prior to joining Groupe SEB India, he was associated with Reynolds Pens India Pvt Ltd as a Country Manager where he was recognized for his contributions in business turnaround through effective leadership & business development strategies. He studied Leadership & Strategic Management from Jack Welch Management Institute and Digital Strategies for Business from Columbia Business School, USA post his Senior Management Program from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta.
Dimple Gupta has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Groupe SEB India in July 2021 to take over the India Operations. She is qualified Chartered Accountant from Year 1998 batch of Institute of Chartered Accountant of India. She has 23+ years of experience in vast world of Finance, Business planning, Strategic performance management, Budgeting, Tax, Legal, ERP, Internal controls, Risk Management and M&A primarily in multinational manufacturing sector. Prior to joining Groupe SEB, she was with Legrand Group in India where she worked for a decade and served in various business divisions as Finance Controller and India Head of Tax & Legal. Her forte remains in managing complex & multi brand environment. She is also expert of handling mergers and acquisitions. She has previously served Organizations like Yamaha Motors, Alcoa India, Hindustan Pulverising Mills etc.
Jasjeet has over 16 years of experience in Strategic Marketing, Category Management, Business Strategy, Marketing Communications etc. with premium brands like Kohler, Assa Abloy & Volvo Eicher. She is a marketing leader having an excellent track record of delivering on market share & profitability objectives. Earlier, she has successfully launched Global and India specific New Product working with Multi-Cultural Global Engineering and Industrial Design Team. Prior to joining Groupe SEB, she was Heading Marketing for luxury lighting portfolio at Usha International. Jasjeet is a Post-Graduate in Management, IIM Lucknow 2004 Batch and did her Engineering from Nagpur University. She has done an Executive Program in Digital & Social Marketing Strategies, ISB Hyderabad (2015).
Srinivasan Kannappan has been appointed as the Vice President Operations of Groupe SEB India in March 2022 to drive the operations vertical which comprises of Manufacturing, Quality, Research & Development and Sourcing.
With 28 years of rich experience in the automotive and home appliance industry, Srini has worked with renowned names like Hyundai, Dyson, Hindustan Motors—Mitsubishi Motors, Flex, Proton Automobiles and Nalco. He has experience of more than a decade holding key roles locally as well as globally. Prior to joining Groupe SEB India, he was associated with Dyson Malaysia.
His core strengths include strong operations management, analytical problem solving, setting and driving operations strategy, driving quality, engineering &process improvements, operational excellence, programme management etc.
A Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, he holds an M.Sc. (Five Year Integrated) degree in Polymers from the University of Madras and a PGCPM in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode.
Ms. Bhawana Dhawan has been appointed as the the AVP - HR & Admin. Bhawana comes with more than 15 years of rich work experience in HR Generalist profile with expertise in Human Capital, Strategy & Organizational Effectiveness.
Prior to joining Groupe SEB India, she started her journey with InterGlobe Enterprises and later joined Pladis, erstwhile United Biscuits. Over the past 12 years in Pladis, she had been instrumental in setting up India HR, in the development of emerging Markets based out of London HQ and latterly across the WEEM region based out of Amsterdam. She is a graduate in psychology honors from Jesus and Mary, PGDM from NDIM and certified on personal profile assessment psychometric by Thomas International, UK.
